On 2018+ Coyote platforms, the factory fuel rail uses a small internal crossover passage that pulls fuel from the high-pressure pump inlet and feeds the port injection side. While this works at stock power levels, it quickly becomes a restriction on boosted setups or higher horsepower builds.

That tiny orifice can limit fuel volume to the port injectors under load — leading to lean conditions, inconsistent fueling, and leaving power on the table.
