Get over 1300 REAL CFM of flow from your 4150 intake, and keep the 4150 bolt pattern, with only 1" of spacer. This spacer lets you install the big 110mm SV1 on a 4150 intake manifold. Getting the same non-turbulent flow from a Dominator with a 4150 adapter would take 3 inches.

Adapters that put a four-barrel Dominator on a 4150 intake often raise wide-open-throttle vacuum, because air only pulls from the center of the carb, so they show little or no power gain. The SV1's centrally located air inlet and the Mach 1 make the transition smoother, so the bigger CFM actually turns into power.

In back-to-back tests on 700-850 hp engines, the Mach 1 has consistently shown 8-15 hp gains over 2" Dominator-to-4150 adapters.
